I believe photography is my first and possibly the only passion in life that is continuing to grow in me after nearly 50 years. As a 3rd grader I became fascinated by the entire process, including the dark-room operations, and never stopped shooting. I feel that fascination eventually propelled me to get a graduate degree and dedicate my career in developing research grade imaging technologies, while still learning about photography. I feel, I am finally understanding the difference between a picture and an image where the craftsmanship brings out the strong emotional response.
